■Wideband RF amplifier for high field generation |
This product is a wideband amplifier developed for "EMC test equipment" that needs high electric field strength. It is possible to correspond to a new introduction and the update of existing equipment because the special design matched to customer's test equipment is done. Because all solid state is adopted, the running cost can be decreased compared with the vacuum tube. It proposes not only the RF amplifier but also the accompanied equipment. |
■Features |
All Solid State |
10kHz - 2500MHz |
500W - 10kW |

Measurement room | Various control equipment and monitors are installed for carrying out overall measurement |
Controller of the test piece | Test piece location is controllable |
Turntable controller | Test piece can be rotated with a turntable |
RF signal/Modulation signal generator | Outputs a modulating signal that inputs to an RF amplifier |
RF amplifier system controller | Switches the amplifier unit in accordance with the output frequency |
Electrolytic monitoring device/Optical transmission | Observes the field intensity generated in an anechoic room |
CCD camera monitor/Optical transmission | Monitors images of the condition of the test piece |
Signal monitor/Optical transmission | Monitors audio and status signals in addition to the images |
Measurement, Control computer | Performs automation of measuring operations, surveillance of operational status, and handling of acquired data |
Optical GP-IB link | Uses GP-IB with a optical signal for control and monitoring of various equipment for measurement |
Amplifier room | Located in close proximity to an anechoic chamber An amplifier and its peripheral equipment are inside |
RF amplifier | Switches several unit to corresponding frequency bands Installed in a 19-inch rack |
System change over switch/Controller
Directional coupler | Transfers RF signals extracted from a directional coupler to the control room |
Power sensor | Observes power output and reflected power |
Optical GP-IB link | Uses GP-IB with a optical signal for control and monitoring of various equipment for measurement |
Anechoic chamber | Wave absorbers are installed to prevent radio wave leakage to the outside The dimensions of the room depend on those of the test piece |
Test piece | |
Turntable | Use to rotate the test object. The dimentions of the turntable also depend on those of the test piece |
Nonmetalic antenna base | To minimize the effect of RF on electric fields, steps for installing an antenna and changing its height are made of non-metal |
Nonmetalic antenna elevation table
Various antenna | Provides various antennas for each frequency. Generally, high gain is an advantage |
Electric field probe | Generation of electric fields is observed more correctly by arranging probes at various points |
Shield CCD camera | A shield boxis installed for use in strong electric fields, and video signals are converted to optical signals and transferred |
Coaxial cable/ Coaxial tube | Equipped to handle high power corresponding to frequency. Coaxial tubes are used depending on electrical power |
